I have lived in NE North Carolina my entire life. I believe in supporting local businesses as well as community service with our non-profit organizations, have previously served on the Museum of the Albemarle Board of Directors (also served as President), Albemarle Area United Way Board of Directors, as well as Girls Incorporated Board of Directors. I am currently an Ambassador with the Perquimans County Chamber of Commerce. 

In my free time, you can find me enjoying River Life at my home on the Perquimans River, or play adventures with my 4 year old granddaughter. I am also an avid baker, who enjoys baking goodies for family and friends.
