Chamber Director

Diane Cangemi

My background is Business Management, started when I was 15 in a high school vocational class.

Prior to being the Director of the Chamber of Commerce, I was the Controller for a small construction company for 11 years. When I started working for this company there were 3 employees, five subcontractors and 2.5 million in annual sales. In five years we became a thirty two person, ten subcontractors as needed and 10.5 million in sales. As the sole

Administrator during the first five years, I managed Human Resources, all Accounting, Facilities and Fleet Manager, all Company Events and everything in between. In the first year of my employment I saved the company $75k dollars by reviewing where every dollar was spent and how. The company had less than a 5% turnover in my 11 years due to the atmosphere I helped create. I helped plan, design and develop their website that is still in use today, www.executiveglassinc.com

Being the Chamber of Commerce’s Director since August 1 st of 2022 has been a challenge but a rewarding challenge. I have met the most amazing people and made some very dear friends. When I took the job I didn’t know I was going to be in the public eye so much, but I’m learning to feel a little more comfortable with it.
